Western Investment daughters came under suspicion

The Office of Tax Crimes Metropolitan Police is conducting an investigation in respect of a number of Russian companies involved with the Hermitage Capital Investment. As

These companies, taking advantage of the agreement between Russia and Cyprus on avoidance of double taxation, to pay profits tax at a rate of 5%. Meanwhile, the assessment of law enforcement bodies, tax rate should be 15%.

Market participants are convinced that the cause of Hermitage – start stripping “gray” schemes buy shares of Gazprom, which participated in the implementation of major Russian and Western investment companies.
