Russia not issue Londono Lugovogo

In Britain sent an official refusal to extradite a Russian businessman Andrei Lugovoi, London accused of murdering a former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia justified its refusal to demand Constitution of the Russian Federation, today reported informed sources in Moscow. “According to the Basic law of the country to extradite citizens of the Russian Federation are prohibited to foreign States,” said the source.

Earlier representatives of the Russian prosecutor’s office has already said publicly that it was not going to issue a British businessman, whom British authorities were accused of poisoning the former FSB officer Alexander RF Litvinenko. However, the prosecutor general of Russia Yuri Chaika made it clear that Lugovoy may be subject to criminal liability in the event that the British side will present convincing evidence of his guilt, and the Russian Prosecutor’s Office deems them valid.
