Mavrodi Court freed from the payment of 10,000 rubles
February 20, 2004 – 3:32 amToday, the Moscow City Court upheld the verdict founder of the financial pyramid “MMM” Sergei Mavrodi convicted for 4,5 years’ imprisonment for fraud, but ruled out the sentence additional penalty of a fine of 10,000 rubles.

Mavrodi told myself guilty, he himself did not recognize and considers that the prosecution against him had to stop. His lawyer Olga Makarova said that does not preclude appeal to the supervisory body.
