Yoga is useful for patients with breast cancer

Women diagnosed with breast cancer, the last course of ten 75-minute yoga achieved positive results in improving mental health, reducing the signs of depression, promoting positive emotions, a sense of calm and improve the overall quality of life. Courses yoga helped patients by 50% to reduce the symptoms of depression and a 12% increase a sense of significance and meaning of life.
Yoga Classes are conducted in a more mild form, and mainly consisted accurate movements of the spine in all directions. Pillows, cushions and blankets to provide full support and contribute to the physical relaxation of the body with minimal physical effort, said AMI-TASS.
All the participants were suffering from breast cancer – 34% were actively treated tumors , although most have already completed a course of treatment. The results clearly showed that women who engaged in yoga, had a wide range of benefits for mental and physical well-being. According to specialists Wake Forest University / USA /, yoga is a simple, safe and effective method of therapy, positive effects on mental health and quality of life for cancer, allowing a fight with a sense of chronic fatigue. Patients who have experienced cancer, tend to suffer from high levels of stress and often develop emotional disorders, so yoga can be a good way to rehabilitate the sick, the doctors are confident.
