Swedish doctors have concluded that obesity and the risk of cancer development is closely related to each other. Thus, operations associated with the reduction of weight, for example liposuction reduces the risk of cancer. The truth is, this pattern is valid only in respect of women, the CyberSecurity.
Doctors studied for nearly 10 years of Swedish patients predisposed to the development of cancer and suffering from overweight or obese. It was found that the operation to reduce the percentage of fat mass at once by 42% reduces the risk of deadly disease.
According to experts, men, this treatment does not affect nearly as many types of cancer stimulated by the dominant female hormones such as estrogen, or simply because men are not so often resorted to the services of surgeons to reduce weight.
“Obesity has long been known as one of the reasons why physicians seriously encourage the development of cancer. New data only reinforce this argument, “- note the medics in an article in the scientific journal Lancet. “People suffering from overweight at any age, are twice more likely to develop cancer of the pancreas”.
As another major bonus of reducing body weight, scientists call on the one part of reducing the burden on the heart, as well as reducing the risk of diabetes. Dr. Lars Sestrom from the university hospital of the city of Gothenburg said that in their study attended 2010 patients with abnormal body weight and 2037 people with normal rates.
