In their conclusions, scientists rely on the results of a series of experiments conducted on mice. Laboratory testing of a new drug, said Professor Miyazaki, “will ensure that the influenza-infected mice quickly overcome the consequences of disease and restored the weight”.
This discovery, noted in the Japanese medical circles, “could lead to the development of Japan’s new safe drugs for rapid treatment of patients infected with influenza A/H1N1″.
According to the local authorities, as a result of a new epidemic of influenza in Japan over the past few months have already died about 70 people, over 10 thousand Japanese people were hospitalized due to complications of diseases.
