Which female scent attracts men

worldwide annually, women spend a lot of money on exotic perfumes and lotions, hoping to attract the attention of the opposite sex. However, according to a new study published in the journal “Psychological Science”, the best way to attract male attention is the use of a woman natural “perfume” of his body.
It is known that odors huge impact on the behavior of male animals. Studies have shown that the olfactory signals to females, especially those that occur during ovulation (when females are most susceptible to conceive), significantly increase testosterone levels in animals-males. Scientists, psychologists Saul L. Miller (Saul L. Miller), and Jon K. Maner (Jon K. Maner) from Florida State University decided to test whether there are the same reactions in humans.
In two different studies women wore T-shirts for 3 consecutive days in different periods of their menstrual cycles, wrote GlobalScience. Then the male volunteers were given a sniff of these shirts. In addition, some of the men were given special reference to sniff T-shirts, which nobody had not previously worn. Samples of saliva taken from men before and after the experiment were analyzed for the content of testosterone.
The study showed that testosterone levels in males smelled the T-shirts worn by women during ovulation was higher than that of men smelled the shirts worn by women outside the period of ovulation (and also higher than that of those men who sniffed control t-shirts). In addition, men were asked to indicate the most pleasant smell: the highest marks, as expected, got those T-shirts worn by women during ovulation.
The authors note that “the present study provides the first direct evidence that the olfactory signals to women during ovulation cause biological reactions of men. ” In other words, this study suggests that the level of testosterone in men may increase their sense of smell, signaling that next to them a woman is ready to conceive.
The authors claim that the expected biological response of men in such cases may be behavior that is similar to the behavior of the male animals during mating, reports ScienceDaily.
