Surgeons hurt the 11-day sick

Surgeons of British National Health Service (NHS) for the year left inside patients, more than 700 items. These and other data on medical errors has received newspaper The Sun, making a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
As it turned out, in 2008, British surgeons after the operations have forgotten inside patients 722 subject. Most in the patient remained tweezers, clamps, scalpels and tampons.
In addition, over the past five years, NHS staff in operations caused almost 12 200 patients with injuries (mainly chipped ) internal organs. There were also cases of interventions on the wrong body – including those who receive much publicity removal of healthy eggs in West Suffolk Hospital which left the patient infertile.
These statistics indicate that that on average, surgeons have caused “serious harm” 11-patients daily, reports Medportal.
Other common manifestations of negligence include the systematic errors in the appointment and the introduction of drugs, blood transfusion is not the same and violations of technology sterilization of instruments, leading to the spread of antibiotic strains of bacteria.
