Estonian president banned the demolition of the Bronze soldier

Estonian president Toomas Hendrik Ilves formally adopted by the Parliament rejected the law “On prohibited demolition stores to dismantle monuments to Soviet warriors, as is not in the Constitution, told the heads of the Office of the republic. President has proposed to Parliament to reconsider the law and bring it into line with the Basic Law.

reminder, the Estonian parliament passed a law on 15 February “on demolition of prohibited plants, which would allow local authorities to legally dismantle monuments to Soviet warriors, in particular Voinu-osvoboditelyu monument in the center of Tallinn Tynismyagi hill.
